Ethically believing in contributing to a more sustainable world, supporting the unprivileged by giving them hope for a better future,
and foremost promoting beauty, creativity, and artistry.
ACE agreed on playing it BIG, by cutting of a percentage of its yearly net income to sponsor those principles by supporting gifted students,
within the public schools of the metropolises of South Sinai.
Right away the idea was accepted, a Board of Directors was constituted, and the idea came active in 2007,
under the name of Al Adassy Award for Architecture and Arts.
Accredited by the regulator, and enrolled as a leading award that officially represents the governorate, gave us excessive motivation
to cover up more geographical areas, reaching up to 70 schools.
Every year a theme gets selected by the award’s BOD, one that embraces the areas of architecture, poetry, applied and fine arts. All pupils from middle to high school participate by presenting their material to their school’s governing body, who then qualifies whomever they see suitable to compete. Thenceforth, we pick up the nominees’ work, examine them carefully with a signed committee of professors from Alexandria’s Faculty of Fine Arts,
in which ACE signed an agreed protocol with, and the results are out.
A great festivity gets held in Sharm el-Sheikh, with the presence of the Governor, City Mayor, Parliament Members, participating students, and their teachers, declaring Al Adassy Award for Architecture and Arts winners of the year.
